Grout Cleaning Over Coffee
About a week or so ago, professional grout cleaners were over at my place to clean the grout in my bathroom. No matter how hard I try to stop my dog, Rover, he would always lie down on the bathroom floor. I guess it was the cool tiles. But, it turns out my method of cleaning wasn’t thorough, and Rover got sick from inhaling black mold.
I decided to end that by hiring professionals to clean my bathroom this time. I called them up, and I we were able to agree on a date for their visit. They arrived shortly after, and they proceeded to do their work.
Once they started working, I was pretty wide-eyed with the fancy equipment they had with them. Me, having an interest in big machinery, looked on from a distance whilst they set up, plugged in the tools and started it up. It filled the house with a nice humming sound which meant my grout was finally being purged of the black mold. I felt reassured that Rover would be coming home to a clean house.
The cleaning crew decided to go for a break, and I thought I’d make them a batch of coffee. So I brewed up some freshly ground beans and served them each a cup. And I do make a really good cup of coffee, if I may toot my own horn. I sat some distance away to watch them work and sipped at my coffee and read the daily paper to keep my mind off Rover.
I was either drinking too slow, or reading too much. But they were done by the time I was halfway through my second cup. Checking my watch, they’ve been at it for only a little over an hour. I like efficiency, and, after checking, i was able to see that they were indeed able to clean it thoroughly. It was white again! After Rover’s operation, he’ll be coming home to a clean house free of mold.
